COVID-19 FAQsWhen will I receive my photographs taken in Term 1?
If your school was photographed in Term 1, we are still delivering printed photography packages to schools that remain open. If your school has closed, we will hold your order securely and deliver it to your school for distribution when school has resumed.
Whilst many schools were able to be photographed in their entirety, some schools did elect to have an additional day in Term 2 to cater for the levels of absenteeism caused by COVID-19. In these situations, your packages will be delivered after final photography has been completed.
Every advancedlife school is currently planning on continuing with their school photography in 2020. Many schools have been photographed, many others are planning to go ahead on their scheduled or rescheduled photography dates in Terms 2, 3 or 4. This means that school photography orders will be processed and delivered as usual once we have photographed your school.

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus emergency and the current situation affecting schools, our customer service team are only working limited hours and will do so until schools resume and all students have returned to school, so please understand if we take a little longer to respond to you.
Please be assured that if you have already placed an online order for a school photography day that has been postponed, your order is still valid for the new date and your photo package will be delivered once the rescheduled photography has taken place.
If your photography date is postponed due to the situation affecting schools and you have already placed your order, then your order is valid for the new photography date and your package will be delivered once the rescheduled photography has taken place.
If you have not placed an order as yet and your school has postponed their photography day, we will be working with your school to ensure that you are informed about the details of your school’s new photography date, so you can place your order and receive your 2020 school photos.
advancedlife is taking every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, school staff and our team. As this is an evolving situation, we are monitoring advice provided by health authorities and we will continue to update our practices regarding school visits, school photography, and how we should proceed with the safety of the community uppermost in our minds.
Our field staff have been directed that they cannot work should they display any signs of illness. All field staff have been provided with hand sanitisers and wipes to ensure a safe work environment. We’ve also implemented safe social distancing processes and reduced our interaction with students while conducting photography at schools, to ensure contact is minimised when photography has taken place.
If you have already received your photographic package and are not completely satisfied, you can return it, along with your: name, address, email, contact phone number and a description of your payment method, to receive a 100% refund of your package or partial refund on part return:

Usually we only accept refund requests within 14 days of receipt, but in these difficult times and with our team not available to assist you, we will waive that time limit.
Please note: A refund cannot be given if the high resolution digital file has already been downloaded from advancedyou.
Whilst every effort has been made to capture a perfect "moment in time" image of your child, at times a photographer can miss the perfect moment amongst the hundreds of children being photographed on the day. Unfortunately, advancedlife cannot return to a school to re-take a portrait. We do, however, offer re-take days throughout the year at all our regional offices, should you wish to come in and have your child's portrait photo re-taken.
