Do you want to be a school photographer?

Based in Brookvale
advancedlife is a national photographic company specialising in School Photography for over 30 years. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to join our busy photographic team in our NSW Branch, based in Brookvale.


We are looking for people interested to be trained as group photographers and as portrait photographers/assistants. These in-the-field roles require both working independently and as part of the team. All equipment and uniforms are supplied. You will receive full training in late January in order to start work in school Term 1.


These casual positions will be up to 5 days work per week, with time off during and around school holidays. The opportunity for permanent employment exists for the right candidates.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Be interested in developing a career in photography

Casual School Portrait Photographers & Assistants

Brisbane and Surrounds
This role with Australia’s leading School Photography Company will see you working with an energetic team within schools throughout Brisbane and its surrounds. Whether photographing or assisting, we are the team charged with providing parents with treasured memories of their children throughout their schooling life.
                               
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to join our team in our QLD Branch based in Mansfield. Training will commence mid-January 2018 to start work in school Term 1. These casual positions are available 5 days per week or on select/varying days, depending on availability, with time off during and around school holidays.

We have vacancies in group photography, portrait photography and photographic assistance available.

 

Although initially seasonal casual positions whilst training and gaining experience in 2018, the opportunity for permanent employment exists for the right candidates.

 

All equipment, training and uniforms are supplied.


The successful candidate will:

  • Be warm, friendly and reliable
  • Enjoy working with children of all ages
  • Enjoy working in new locations - not stuck in an office!

Casual School Portrait Photographers & Assistants

North Queensland
advancedlife is a national company specialising in School Photography for 33 years. We are seeking energetic, well presented, enthusiastic, organised people to join our Northern Queensland photographic team in a casual capacity, based in Townsville, but also servicing schools in Mackay and Cairns. You will be trained as portrait photographers and portrait assistants in mid-January 2018 to start work in school Term 1.


These casual positions will be up to 5 days work per week, with time off during and around school holidays. Please note that the hours can be long and frequent overnight travel is involved; it is not just school hours. Equipment, training and uniform will be supplied. Photographic experience preferred, however we will train the right people.

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess a  high degree of initiative and superior organisational skills
  • Be focussed on delivering exceptional service to our customers
  • Enjoy working with children of all ages
  • Enjoy working in a physically active role
  • Work well in a team environment and independently
  • Be available for early starts and to work variable length days (not just school hours)
  • Be available to travel frequently and spend up to a week away, as we service schools in Mackay and Cairns
  • Be able to work to tight schedules
  • Be well groomed, warm and friendly, with excellent communication skills
  • Have a good working knowledge of computers
  • Be an Australian resident with an Australian driving licence and have dependable transport to and from our Townsville office
  • Be aware that it is a physical role with standing, lifting and carrying involved

Operating for over 33 years, advancedlife is a national photographic company specialising in School Photography and Print & Design. We are seeking a highly organised, articulate “people” person to join our small Customer Service team in the QLD Branch based in Mansfield, Brisbane. Ideally you will have both project coordination and customer service experience.


This casual 5 day a week role focuses on co-ordinating the activities and communications between the Company and the schools we work with, and ensuring the entire process runs smoothly and easily for everyone – our schools, our photographic teams and our Branch.

The successful candidate will:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A warm and helpful phone manner
  • A determination to deliver long-term customer satisfaction
  • A high degree of initiative and strong problem-solving skills when dealing with customer complaints
  • Superior organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and manage expectations accordingly
  • A keen eye for detail and high accuracy
  • Enjoy working both independently and as part of a busy committed team
  • Proven ability in a client service or co-ordinating environment

We are seeking an organised, positive “people” person to join our small Customer Service team in the NSW Branch based in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches. This 5-day per week casual role focuses on responding to the in-bound calls and emails we receive from our family customers. We want someone who is warm and helpful and ensures that not only do our customers get the answers they need, but that they have a great experience when dealing with us.
